What is CSA?

Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is an opportunity to create a connection between the farmer and the eater. Together we form a community to enjoy and experience a season of growing and eating. We provide the freshest, tastiest, and healthiest food possible, in return for support by appreciative members.

We feel that it is important to create a connection between the farm and the CSA members.  We work to foster this by hosting several gatherings throughout the season such as potlucks to farm workdays.  We also keep you updated on what's happening at the farm with weekly newsletters accompanying your shares.

What to Expect:

Our summer shares are delivered weekly for twenty weeks from early June through October of all your favorites - tomatoes, beans, garlic, squash - along with some less common veggies to keep things interesting and add some variety to your kitchen.  We focus on the more traditional veggies that you are familiar with so each week the majority of the box should be familiar to you, with one or two items that you may be less familiar with such as parsnip or edamame soybeans.

Winter shares contain larger quantities of late season and storable items like some greens, potatoes, winter squash, and carrots.

Health Insurance Rebate

CSA members may be able to receive a rebate from their health insurance provider for their participation in our CSA. Rebates range from $100 for single members up to $200-$300 for families. For more information see http://www.freshfoodwisconsin.org/rebates.php or http://www.csacoalition.org/our-work/csa-insurance-rebate/
